Irene Blyth, Project Support Executive - Systems

Irene Cameo

Irene has over twenty years experience working within, and for, national and local government.

She started her career in the administrative section of the DHSS and progressed through a range of roles to become team leader in the Revenues and Benefits Division within a Local Authority. Her passion for excellence and focus on continuous improvement made her aware of the opportunities provided by technology in the pursuit of productivity and efficiency.

She joined ICL's development team in the nineties to gain experience in using cutting edge technology to deliver change and progressed to become a project manager for their Public Sector contracts. When the division was sold to Anite, a private sector software and services provider, she continued in that role, taking on responsibility for project management, implementation, and training. This gave her an understanding of the end user's needs and perspectives and enabled her to have user friendly input into the quality of software delivered to customers. She has been involved in every element of the software development cycle, bringing together all levels of public and private sector organisations in the process.

Irene's experience has given her a thorough insight into the difficulties faced by organisations as they endeavour to embrace new technologies.

She enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise and through assisting people in their personal development building their ability to add increasing value to their organisation. Her aim is to leave the end user confident and delighted and prepared to relentlessly pursue improved performance in all aspects of their work.
