empirical helped Reading Borough Council select their payment partner earlier in the year. November saw the installation of the Allpay payment machine in the Civic Centre. This machine allows citizens to make payments in cash, and receive change, without queuing for an available cashier. Alogside this, empirical has completed a wide ranging review of payment methods across the council to ensure that the existing investment in payment technology is maximised, ongoing costs reduced and payment methods are standardised across the many services that the council provides.
