This month empirical has started working with Reading Borough Council to procure and implement a system to enable staff to record and monitor the condition of trees that are owned by the Council and to plan a programme of maintenance for those trees. Responding to the need to establish the condition of several thousands of trees that are owned by Reading Borough Council and ensure that they are all maintained in a safe condition, the project will provide an Arbortrack tree database and the necessary field equipment (tablets PC's, digital cameras, etc) to allow staff to capture information about the condition of each tree and enter that data into the central database.
