e-mpirical

As part of the National Programme of e-government projects, e-mpirical is creating an "e-democracy" portal that will engage members of the Local Strategic Partnership and local community groups in an ongoing dialogue of cross cutting issues affecting the people of Reading.

This unique project will involve over 200 organisations and individuals in a 6 month programme of activities aimed at increasing the involvement of all stakeholders in the democratic process. The first phase will see the e-enablement of the existing democratic processes. Phase II will see the extension of the existing processes into new areas using web based technologies.
