July saw e-mpirical extend its transport work with Reading Borough Council and commence an ambitious programme to replace the systems for Residents Parking Permits and provide support to their Bus Lane Enforcement programme. In September, the council will start enforcing contraventions of the bus lane regulations. e-mpirical will be providing project support and guidance on this project which will see Reading become the first council outside London to use bus lane enforcement as a key part of its transport strategy.
